Base & Bling
I absolutely love the Base & Bling collection from Close to My Heart, and estatic that they added to this collection in the new Annual Inspirations 2014/15 Catalog! The Base & Bling collection includes Rectangle and Oval pendants now in addition to the Square and Round pendants that were previously available. They've also added two new sets of charms, along with two new sheets of stickers for your pendants and other items you create. There is now, in addition to the necklaces and Cuff Bracelet that is available in both Silver and Antiqued gold. In fact, all the accessories are available in silver and antique gold. I think its amazing that when you buy a set of charms you get them in both colors; and they are so inexpensive!
I have already made several gifts for others who absolutely adore the jewelry! I will be holding a Base and Bling workshop in December; just in time for Christmas! So stay tuned and keep following!

Re-created a Pinterest pin, finally!
OOO...I am getting so excited for my Open House next week Saturday, August 2nd! I hope everyone has an opportunity just to stop by!
A friend asked for help with an anniversary gift for her husband, they were celebrating 5 years. The traditional gift for a 5th anniversary is paper...so of course I said I could help! I'm trying not to just be "a pinner" on Pinterest, but actually re-create some of those things I absolutely fall in love with

Here's what we created!
It is a black shadow box, black cardstock for the background, and we punched out words from the dictionary that she felt described their marriage and them as a couple. We made 2, one for her anniversary, the other for wedding gift. The background we used for the Wedding gift was Lagoon...very similar to her wedding colors!

Enjoy Today Layout
I had such a great time at Convention in Disneyland this summer...and was so lucky that Brian and I were able to make a greater vacation out of it. I have been going through TONS of pictures and get ready to scrapbook the experience. Before I start on that though, I felt I should REALLY finish the projects we had the opportunity to create during the Creative Sessions at convention. Here's a sneak peak at some of the new colors and My Acrylix stamp sets that will be available in the new Annual Inspirations catalog.

Confetti Wishes Cardmaking Workshop
Join me on August 23rd, from 11- 2pm to complete a 10 Card Birthday Card Workshop. We will be using the new Confetti Wishes paper from CTMH and the My Acrylix® Lovely Birthday Stamp Set. You will have all the product and directions to complete 10 cards (2 designs) with envelopes.
If you are unable to make the workshop and still would like the kit, pick up or shipping arrangements can be made separately. :)
Payment for this workshop must be received no later than August 8th via PayPal to distler.jennifer@gmail.com. The payment covers the cost of your supplies. Please email me or text (623 256 8323) here when you have paid via paypal.
If other payment arrangements are needed, please contact me by August 5th to do so. Unfortunately, for these types of workshops I cannot offer a refund, but you will receive your materials regardless of whether you attend the workshop or not.
